17th Century Italian Cabinet

Cabinet in rosewood, ebony, blackened wood, bone and ivory. It opens with two uncovering leaves, ten drawers including a large one simulating three small ones in the lower part and a central shutter. It presents on the top, the sides and the leaves, a geometric decoration of inlaid ivory nets, and cartouches in reserves. Inside, the drawer fronts and the shutter present a rich decoration of engraved ivory plaques representing in the center an "antique warrior" character in a symmetrical arrangement, foliage scrolls, chimeras, birds, grotesque , masks.
